Benjamin is a photographer and filmmaker originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, who now lives above the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland.
After a decade spent working as an actor and behind the lens in the British and Hollywood film industries, he traded studio lights for snow-covered forests and the stillness of the North. His path changed during an expedition to the highlands of Iceland, where the vastness of the landscape reminded him of how much beauty remains untouched, and how fragile it really is.
This experience gave Benjamin a new perspective, shifting his focus toward documenting the Arctic and supporting the conservation efforts that safeguard it. When he shoots, he is always looking to capture the calm and serenity of the landscape. Whether documenting the midnight sun from above with a drone or working in -30°C under the northern lights, he is committed to capturing that sense of wonder and translating it into a cinematic narrative.
For Benjamin, the Great Northern Wilderness has a way of putting everything into perspective. He is dedicated to capturing that feeling and using his lens as a tool for its lasting protection.
Over the course of his career, Benjamin has worked with a diverse range of clients, including Google Gemini, Nintendo, Collonnade Studio, Indie Bride London, Emile Vidal Carr, Oako Denmark, Simko Studios, Arctic Panorama Resort, Silver Birch Resort, and several others.
